Lydia is a singer, composer and vocal coach based in Guernsey. She trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, and later studied for a Masters Degree at Leeds College of Music. In 2016 she was awarded a scholarship from The Voice College to study for the Advanced Professional Diploma in Teaching Contemporary Singing, and was later awarded The P. J. Proby Award for excellence, and has since joined the Voice College team as a tutor. Her performance roles to date include Eva Peron (EVITA), Maria (The Sound of Music), and Fantine (Les Miserables). She is currently working on a new musical, ‘Radio Silence’ with local playwright Laura Simpson.
